At a temperature of 1,100C we can guarantee complete destruction of hazardous waste resulting in inert residues with typical volume reductions of 80%. Our rotary kiln incinerator one of only two in the UK operates to the highest environmental standards. It is classified as a higher tier COHMA site, processing difficult chemical and industrial waste streams not suitable for alternative treatment or disposal options.
Licensed to dispose of all types of hazardous and non-hazardous waste as defined by the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005, the Site also has an RSA93 licence for accumulation and disposal of low-level radioactive wastes.
